Evoking the power of the human spirit, of resilience, and the natural world, Spirit features works by up-and-coming composers, including Canadian Katerina Gimon. Sacred Latin texts and hymns converge with works of contemporary poets, including Waad Tariq, a 26-year-old Saudi woman who writes about human experience, dreams, mythology, the natural world, and everything in-between. Spiritus will be joined by young choral singers from our Spirit Program in this community-focused musical collaboration.
