J. S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio (Parts 1, 2, 3)
The Kentucky Bach Choir and Orchestra will present the first three (of six) cantatas in J. S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio. We will be joined by soloists Elizabeth Arnold, soprano; Christopher Burchett, bass; and Miguel Ángel Ortega Bañales, tenor, and Rhianna Leigh Cockrell, mezzo-soprano - both past winners of our Audrey Rooney Vocal Competition.
The Oratorio will be sung in German, and performed at "Baroque pitch" featuring period wind instruments.
Tickets at the door (General Admission and Senior) will be $35/$30, respectively.
