Directed by Pat Kiely, fiction/comedy. A rockstar wannabe and his tortured-writer best friend hatch a plan to transform the writer's grungy first novel into a bestselling memoir by creating a hipster icon, KK Downey, who instantly becomes a messianic star. They gain the fame and fortune they so desperately wanted, but at a steep price.
