Downtown by way of Seattle, the sublime composer, pianist and vocalist Holcomb is heard in a solo set, preceded by her husband, the celebrated keyboardist/composer Horvitz (Naked City), performing in a bracing collaboration with the noted bassoonist Schoenbeck (Anthony Braxton, Nels Cline).
