2014-wRECk Night, Session I
New to derby? Or are you an experienced derby skater who's been away for a while? Join the wRECk League!
The SDD invites you to this 15-week, fun, low-pressure, low-impact workout, skating class and recreational roller derby for women and men ages 18 and over. WRECk League is a place where experienced skaters can get a derby fix and where beginners and referee hopefuls can build derby skills in preparation for SDD tryouts.
Basic Training courses are 8-10 p.m. Tuesdays. All practices are at the Garden City Gym, 160 Priscilla Thomas Way/Wheat Hill Road. There will be two 15-week sessions offered in 2014:
* Session I: March 4 June 10
* Session II: July 8 October 14
The cost is $75 for the semester or $10 per class. New registrants should arrive at least 20 minutes early to sign a waiver and pay the registration fee with a credit card.
