Guest Recital: Dr. Matthew Bengtson, Piano
The recital will feature some of Liszt's Transcendental Etudes heard against recent Etudes that reconceptualize those pieces: Roberto Sierra's "Estudios de ejecución trascendental." The program will conclude with Scriabin's 24 Preludes op. 11 in celebration of the composer's 150th anniversary.
