Cat Cross Pittsburgh 2022

SATURDAY OCTOBER 29th, 2022 CAT CROSS

Cat Cross Pittsburgh 2022 will explore the various trail networks that link neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. Cat Cross is not about who is the fastest, with time bonuses awarded along the route to keep things even. Cat Cross is about finding alternative pathways for safer cycling by connecting car-free areas to mixed use trail, and quiet streets. A little bit of alleycat madness, a large portion of urban exploration, create a "run what you brung" race where no particular bike has an advantage.

On-Road sections are comprised of neighborhood streets with bike-ways. Off-Road sectors will link riders to paved sections in various neighborhoods faster than streets (you may be surprised where a trail takes you). This recreational race should take riders approximately 1-2 hours to complete. A cue sheet, provided day of, will give generalized directions to time bonus awarded sectors, but riders are still free to choose their own adventure along the way. Wanna ride with friends? Teams are welcomed and encouraged! It's Halloween weekend, can I wear a costume? Absolutely!

Preregistration: Here through Brown Paper Ticket until October 1st
Day Of Registration: $15 - 2 PM Sharp @ West Penn Park in Beautiful Polish Hill near the skate park.
Race Start: 3 PM Sharp

All those who preregister will be emailed a .pdf document containing a detailed course overview, in-race highlights, and printable event spoke cards (you'll be given another spoke card day-of, for use during the race).

ALL PROCEEDS FROM CAT CROSS 2022 WILL BE USED TO FUND FUTURE EVENTS.
