Duo Marchand
Enjoy songs from Elizabethan times as Duo Marchand explores the works of John Dowland, Thomas Campion, and other great troubadours who graced historical England with music. Duo Marchand takes its name from a family of court musicians that flourished in 17th-century France and features soprano Marcia Young, who also plays historical harps, and lutenist Andy Rutherford. In recent seasons, the duo has performed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Cloisters, Connecticut Early Music Festival, the Yale Collection of Musical Instruments, and the Troy Music Hall.
