Elmhurst Choral Union: Microwave Masterpieces
How long does it take to learn a choral masterpiece? Just 1 afternoon, if you do it right!
Join singers from Elmhurst Choral Union and sing with conductor Scott Uddenberg. Can he beat the clock to prepare musical stylings of American Songbook composers: Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and Richard Rogers? Register to sing and find out!
Or if you're not a singer, arrive at 4:00PM and hear the results of the craziest thing we do all year.
Singer participants--rehearsal starts at 1:00PM, with a break mid-way through. You'll need a choral score which you can purchase at Luscombe Music in Elmhurst or at the door--check the Elmhurst Choral Union website at elmhurstchoralunion.org/concerts to get the details.
ECU Covid protocol singers: proof of vaccination not required, masks to be worn during rehearsal, masks optional for performance. For audience, proof of vaccination not required, masks optional.
