Gallery Suite Jazz Series - February
Welcome to Season II of the Gallery Suite Jazz Series!
Experience a unique, intimate music showcase in a hip, urban, raw studio space hosted by International saxophonist and recording artist Phil Denny. You and your guest(s) can expect the finest level of artistry from musical talents from around the state, bordering states and Canada with an emphasis on diversion though pure musical entertainment. With a limited seating capacity, those present will feel as though the music is being performed just for them. Open wood ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed brick walls create the ideal backdrop for a night of lively entertainment.
Kicking off season II is Detroit based jazz fusion and R&B group RYZ featuring keyboardist/organist Gerard Gibbs. RYZ is a collective group of accomplished performing and session musicians which aims to deliver a diverse music experience with an strong blend of originality. Yes, it will be an unscripted shindig!
The gallery suite doors will open at 7:00pm. Guests are welcome and encouraged to stroll the main gallery floor prior to the show to view the artwork, decorative textures, custom finishes, exclusive furniture and more.
The music showcase will begin promptly at 8:00pm. Estimated showtime is 90-100 minutes.
Entry to the gallery suite is located in the back of the gallery (south) just off Museum Drive. THE GSJS IS AN OPEN SEATING FORMAT. Parties of four however, will be assigned a table. If your group is larger than four seats, we will do our best to ensure your tables are near to each other.
