St George's Film Club - 'Beautiful Thing'
We are holding our next monthly film club in the beautiful setting of St George's Church in the heart of Kemptown village, on Thursday 7th July, with the British romantic comedy, 'Beautiful Thing'. (Cert. 15)
Written by Jonathan Harvey and Directed by Hettie Macdonald, Jamie is a shy teenager, often bullied at school. His neighbour Ste has a rough time at home, being beaten by his father and brother. This issues bring them together and they find that what they feel for each other is more than friendship.
Doors will open at 7pm and the film will start at 8. Arrive in plenty of time to enjoy some homemade sweet or savoury snacks from the cafe, as well as a selection of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks at the bar. These will be available throughout the evening, while the film is on.
Join us for this fab film, in a beautiful setting, and find out more about what's coming up at St George's.
