Scarlet Night- An Affair of the Heart
The Event: "Scarlet Night- An Affair of the Heart" is the South Asian Heart Center's first fundraising gala, to help expand the impact of its unique prevention program within the community.
The Organization: The South Asian Heart Center is a non-profit response to the epidemic of heart disease among South Asians, who are at a four-fold higher risk of heart disease than the U.S. population.
The Entertainment: The Scarlet Night Gala event is packed with entertainment including: the unmatched master of ceremonies Prakash Vaswani, the award-winning U.C. Berkeley a cappella team "Dil Se", the eclectic and graceful dance troupe "Tattva", the unrivaled singer Anupama Chandratrerya, and a few unforgettable suprises along the way.
The Banquet: The Center has developed nutrition guidelines
for better heart health in the community. Our sumptuous banquet utilizing these guidelines offers the best that the Bay Area can create in healthy Indian cuisine.
