Celtic Summer Solstice Concert with the Oregon Renaissance Band
The Oregon Renaissance Band presents "The Dawning of the Day" an Early Celtic Summer Solstice Concert featuring 12 musicians playing music by Thomas Connellan, Turlough O'Carolan, John Playford and more on a wide variety of period instruments directed by Phil & Gayle Neuman. The program will also include special tributes to Josquin des Prez and Michael Praetorius and feature guest Celtic harpist Laura Zaerr. Instruments will include violin, harp, viols, recorders, sackbutts, spinettino, shawm, bagpipes, cittern, percussion and voices. Musicians include: Polly Gibson, Laura Kuhlman, Kathryn Richer, Cindy Markham, Ben Fitch, Esther Saulle, Dave Bryan, Andy Harris, Tony Peterson.
Concert begins at 7:30PM.
Masks are required.
