Britannia at the Blackfriars
Evening number three at the Staunton Music Festival 2014 features brilliant works from four centuries of English music. The concert takes place inside the world's only re-creation of Shakespeare's indoor theater, the famed Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton. Program includes works by Dowland, Handel, Britten, Vaughan Williams, Elgar and others, performed by acclaimed chamber musicians from across the US and Europe. Pre-concert talk at 6:30pm.
