Dame Demo: The Story of Rice in the Lowcountry
Dame Amethyst Ganaway will talk about the history of rice in the Lowcountry. Attendees can cook along as she makes Shrimp Purloo or just save the recipe to make later. All proceeds benefit Les Dames d'Escoffier Charleston chapter's scholarship fund for women in food, beverage and hospitality. A Zoom link will be sent to participants 24 hours in advance.
