Eric Schaffer at CKH, Glastonbury, CT
Since moving to Tucson in 2007, former Glastonbury resident Eric Schaffer has established himself as one of Southern Arizona's most popular singer/songwriter/performers. Often co-writing with his wife Carol, he has been a finalist in numerous songwriting competitions including the Great American Song Contest, Passport to Nashville and the Tucson Folk Festival songwriting contest.
Eric has performed extensively both as a solo artist and with his band, The Other Troublemakers with appearances in California, Texas, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Sonora (Mexico), Wyoming, Tennessee, Massachusetts and Connecticut. He has also opened shows for several nationally-known artists including Grammy winners Marc Cohn ("Walking in Memphis") and Clint Black, Blackberry Smoke, Darden Smith and Lonestar.
This will be his only appearance in New England this year and his first since 2018.
With a musical style that flows between Country, Folk-Rock and "Singer-Songwriter", Eric's vocals have been compared to Steve Earle and Kris Kristofferson, and his songs are heavily influenced by the great singer-songwriters of the 1960s and 70s.
