Jazz Arts Story Time
On Saturday, April 16, 2022, Lil' Miss Story Hour will host a special Jazz themed story time with Hooked on Books in honor of National Poetry and Jazz Month. We will highlight and elevate jazz music and musicians through stories and musical explorations.
Highlighting the illustrations of mid-century modern collage-style illustrator, Christian Robinson, our book selections will include, A Story of Nina Simone, by Traci N. Todd; and Harlems Little Blackbird, by Renee Watson.
There will be a collaborative art and poetry activity and also a raffle drawing!

Event will be held on the ground level. Entrance into the building is ADA accessible, and a restroom is located on the ground level. There are many ADA metered street parking spaces in close proximity to the building.
