Hatful of Rain play 'The Con Club' Lewes
2022 sees the butterfly out of the chrysalis: re-emergence of live music following a difficult few years. Hatful of Rain have been bringing their blend of Americana/roots music to audiences for over a decade and are delighted to return to the fabulous Con Club in Lewes. Chloe Overton, Phil Jones & Fred Gregory, play self penned songs of love, loss, and identity that are woven into creation via the means of guitar, double bass, banjo, mandolin and sublime vocals with the sweetest harmonies in the South East! Driving rhythm blending with emotional ballads to pull you up and dash you down, their material screams variety. New addition of percussion and lap steel coming from bonafide USA national Scott Smith - long admired for his work in Porch light Smoker.
