Decibel - NW Electropop/Experimental
Electro Pop and Experimental showcase - CHAC Lower Level ($7, doors open 7:30)
Electronic pop has become a popular format in the Northwest, with artists like Postal Service receiving prime radio time on Seattle's KEXP radio station. The increasing amount of artists writing beautifully constructed, computer-driven pop tunes has given way to a plethora of new music hinting at 80's new wave, electro and pop. Skiks and Richard Chartier represent the more experimental electro pop performers, while Dub Exorcist will be dropping a unique blend of dub and minimal techno.
