New Year's resolutions are easy to make, but exciting to break! Come join Interstate and friends for the fourth annual Broken Resolutions Ball at the Linen Building.
The 2014 Broken Resolutions Ball features its strongest lineup yet with some of Boise's best bands, including:
Interstate (interstateband.net): Interstate is a pure product of the Northwest's music community. The band merges many different styles of music in an effort to write and play the songs they have always wanted to hear. Combining a love for classic ideas and experimentation with new sounds, Interstate maintains a philosophy of staying musically fresh. Expect to hear the unexpectedly familiar.
Soul Serene (soulserene.com): The recently-reunited Soul Serene is a rock/pop/reggae band from Boise. The original music of Soul Serene is energetic and explosive, yet smooth and sometimes psychedelic. The music is influenced by the likes of The Beatles, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan. The band loves to throw a few familiar covers into the mix, also - sometimes playing them in a traditional style and sometimes adding a fresh new twist.
Dirty Like Money: This folk and modern Americana rock group is a new project of Dan Keck, formerly of Bank, combining crafty songwriting and raw grooves to bring the spirit of Tom Petty to fruition using some of Boise's best-seasoned musicians.
