Plus special guest openers
Join us for the Olympia premiere of Ariel Schmidtke's contemporary circus production A Length of Rope. In 2017, Ariel toured this show in fourteen cities across the United States from Alaska to North Carolina. Ariel has teamed up with Olympia local Emily McHugh of String and Shadow to redesign the puppetry for this production. The show fuses trapeze, acrobatics, and shadow puppetry with narrative theater to tell a story about shifting identities and asks what parts of self we choose, and which we have we acquired from others.
