The Nebraska Wind Symphony presents an AllStar concert on Sunday, February 20 at 7:30PM at the Strauss Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
We feature our Middle School AllStars on oboe, bassoon, and bass clarinet. These students are nominated by their band directors to prepare and play Music from the Royal Fireworks (Overture and Rejouissance) by G.F. Handel/Davis, Baby Elephant Walk.
Also featured is our 2021 top scholarship winner, Erika Wilkins, performing Flute Concertino, Op. 107 by Cécil Chaminade.
NWS performs under the direction of Music Director Dr. Joshua Kearney.
Tickets are $10 for seniors, $15 for adults. Free for all students and children under 12.
Per University of Nebraska at Omaha policy, masks and distancing between family/audience units are required. There will be sanitizers and masks available in the lobby prior to the performance.
