Bluegrass in the Central Valley with host Red Dog Ash featuring The Earl Brothers.
From the first note the Earl Brothers play, they are unmistakenly a bluegrass band with Robert Earl on his archtop banjo just like Ralph Stanley. Their sound is slinky and trance like, creating a texture and mood rather than expressing a musical variation on a theme, all the while exploding with traditional bluegrass sound. Red Dog Ash hosts the show. Award winning band Red Dog is Jason Winfree on Guitar, Gary Vessel on mandolin, Dixon Smith on banjo, Elijah Arrigotti on dobro, and Ron Cotnam on Bass.
