TPR Presents: Dvorak
TPR invites you to a night of beautiful music and dance. TPR Presents: Dvorak is a preview of the upcoming Dvorak Festival from several local performing arts organizations.
Join us as performing arts groups such as the Children's Chorus of San Antonio, Youth Orchestras of San Antonio, and Alamo Arts Ballet Theatre all offer their interpretations of the work of Antonin Dvorak, one of the greatest composers of the nineteenth century, known for his folksy, danceable Czech melodies and rhythms. Enjoy the performances, and onstage discussion with the artists to discover what makes the music great. A light reception and good fellowship follows the performances.
TPR Presents: Dvorak takes place on Tuesday, January 21st at 7:30 P.M. in Thiry Auditorium at Our Lady of the Lake University. Doors will open at 7 P.M.
This event is free to members of Texas Public Radio as a benefit of membership. Non-members are also welcome, with a suggested donation of $10.
