The Water Tower String Band (Josh Rabie, Kenny Feinstein, Cory Goldman and Walter
Spencer) is a traditionally rooted band that has a style that fuses the hard driving energy of a
powerhouse old time stringband with the skillful instrumental interplay and tight harmonies
of bluegrass and country music. In the spring of 2008 they self-released their
Squid and the Fiddle, and are nearing completion of their second studio album and gearing

Sawing, clanging, banging and thumping. Thats what the Squirrelly Stringband is known
forraw, hard-driving old-time string band music. Influenced by the old music of east
Tennessee and the black string bands of the early 20th century, Squirrelly comes across as a
backwoods punk band, circa 1900. Members include Dave Murray (fiddle), Debbie Berne
