Tri-County Symphonic Band Concert - English Folk Song Gala: The Music of Grainger, Holst and Vaughan Williams
The February concert, English Folk Song Gala: The Music of Grainger, Holst and Vaughan Williams is a festive collection of symphonic band renditions of English folk songs. The cornerstones of the symphonic band repertoire of the early 1900s is from three iconic composers: Percy Aldridge Grainger, Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughan Williams. There will be seven works ranging from serious settings to frolicking follies. The wide variety of colors and emotions of these compositions will be on display as we explore the bountiful assortment of folk song derived pieces. This concert will be held at the Old Rochester Regional High School in Mattapoisett, MA.

For Patrons:
Masks are required at all times by all audience members
Social distancing is strongly encouraged within the auditorium, except families may sit together
No food or drinks permitted by concert goers
No proof of vaccination required - subject to change based on ORR, Mattapoisett or state mandates
If you are unwell, or experiencing cold or flu symptoms - please do not attend the concert
If you have been exposed, or in close contact with someone who is unwell or who has tested positive for COVID - please do not come to the concert. We encourage folks in this category to follow the CDC guidelines, i.e. If you've had close contact with someone who has COVID-19, you should get tested 3-5 days after your exposure, even if you dont have symptoms. You should also wear a mask indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or until your test result is negative. You should isolate for 10 days if your test result is positive. While waiting for a negative test or self isolating - please do not come to the concert.
