MAGIC MAMA Children's Concert - FUNDRAISER
Calling herself an eco-edu-tainer, Magic Mama sings about our relationship to the Earth, about the gifts each of us bring to the world, as well as about such things as the joys and perils of going barefoot.
The music, a mix of jazz, funk, organic hip-hop and world beats, is fun for all ages. Children especially like the handmade shakers and rainsticks they can use to participate in the show.
Adults may find themselves grooving to a funky beat about peace pirates, or a rap about children who do not clean their rooms.
Did you know a mason jar filled with water can be a musical instrument? Have you ever used an empty cheese-puff bag as percussion, to accompany a song? Magic Mama's performances will change the way you think about ordinary things.
