Lexi Weege and JJ Slater
Two western Massachusetts singer songwriters share the Depot stage.
Western MA-based JJ Slater has songs for every season, and is ready to bring them to life. He has played jazz, folk, psych rock, and soul music around the Northeast and beyond for the past decade, and his newest body of work distills these influences into a mellow, funky stew. His new EP An Obscure Moon introduces this sound, and new music on the horizon will paint the full picture.
Lexi Weege is a true vocal acrobat, leaping from dangerous, sultry growl to playful lilting in a single bound. You would be hard-pressed to find as transfixing a storyteller.
