AAW's 20th Anniversary Winter Showcase
Arts Academy in the Woods is a free public charter school located in Fraser, Michigan. Our Annual Winter Showcase has always been a way for us to display our students' many talents across the arts. We will have our visual and digital artists work displayed throughout our venue, while our dancers, vocalists, actors, instrumental musicians, and creative writers will take to the stage down at the historic Detroit Music Hall for the Performing Arts in downtown Detroit.
This concert is sure to delight audiences of all ages, so come help us celebrate 20 years of fostering learning through and with the arts!
In order to keep all our patrons and students as safe as possible, we are asking that all audience members wear masks while they are inside, unless actively eating or drinking. Thank you for understanding.
At Arts Academy in the Woods, dance, music, visual arts or drama are a part of every students schedule ART EVERY DAY. Our extensive arts program is combined with a solid academic curriculum, including math, science, English, and languages.
Arts Academy in the Woods is chartered by the Macomb Intermediate School Districts Board of Education, who oversees its operations, including finances and curriculum. We are located in a tranquil, tree-lined neighborhood in Fraser at 32101 Caroline Street, just northwest of the intersection of Masonic and Utica Road.
As a charter school that is free to any high school student in Michigan, we draw students from Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
