Musae at Old St. Hilary's - 4 p.m. show
Musae is a women's vocal ensemble based in San Francisco. The group takes its name from the original "ladies of song," the classic nine Muses of Greek mythology. Since its founding in 2004, Musae has performed diverse and accessible music throughout the Bay Area, and continues to stretch the boundaries of traditional repertoire for women's voices.
In Carols and Hymns, Musae will explore vocal music spanning the centuries. From medieval chant, to early-Renaissance fauxbourdon, to religious songs, to contemporary compositions, this journey of a program is a way for us to celebrate the season through live music again.
Presented by: Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society with generous support from The Tiburon Heritage & Arts Commission and the Belvedere Land Company.
**Masking update: the County of Marin has joined other Bay Area counties in issuing a mandate that face coverings be worn when in indoor public places. Ticket sales will be limited to 60 which is 1/2 of capacity for Old St. Hilary's.
We would prefer that if you are not vaccinated that you do not attend this concert. Thank you.
