Then get ready for a great show. Monika Oliveira is a fresh and exciting vocal presence on the Brazilian music scene today in New York. This singer/songwriter is a native of Rio de Janeiro living and performing United States. She combines her love of Brazil's musical heritage and her love of Jazz into a sultry variation on both Brazilian Jazz that is at once moving and rhythmic, pure and passionate.
Monika's voice enchants and entrances through her innate rhythmic feel and phrasing. Monika Oliveira has performed with: Portinho, Paulo Braga, Sergio Brandão, Nilson Matta, Rogerio Botter Maio, Lincoln Goines, David Finck, Romero Lubambo, Allain Mallet, Helio Alves e Cliff Korman and many more.
