Tracy Turnblad has a dream: to dance on the Corny Collins show, the hottest dance program on TV in 1960's Baltimore.
But she faces huge obstacles from a community that believes that nobody should dance on television who isn't pretty, thin and white.
Watch Tracy use the power of her voice and dance moves and her hair! - to become a breakout star, find love with a dreamy crooner, and burst wide open the barriers of Baltimore society.
It's a vibrant, high-energy musical that never stops, filled with such musical hits as "Good Morning, Baltimore," "Welcome to the 60's," and "You Can't Stop the Beat."
Directed by Brad Friedman, musical direction by Til Tribuzi, choreography by Robyn Tribuzi.
