TransDance: Journey Into the Mystery

Participants must be 15 or over
$15 in advance/$20 at the door
TransDance incorporates beautiful music, imagery, metaphor and ritual to enable communities and individuals to explore the wholeness of who we are and the Mystery of life. Please join us on January 24th, at 7:30 pm for a communal and individual exploration of "Loving-Kindness" through movement and imagination. Please arrive on time--journey will begin promptly at 8 pm.
Beginners and experienced movers are welcome. Spaciously facilitated, all movement is at your own pace and interpretation. Some people come just for the love of dance and even more come because dance is or is becoming part
of their path of healing and transformation.
On January 24th, our dance journey will take us down the following prayer of loving-kindness:
"May all beings be well and safe, may they be at ease.
Whatever living beings there may be, whether moving or standing still, without exception, whether large, great, middling, or small, whether tiny or substantial,
Whether seen or unseen, whether living near or far,
Born or unborn; may all beings be happy.
Let none deceive or despise another anywhere. Let none wish harm to another, in anger or in hate."
Heather Munro Pierce is a modern day temple dancer who has led inspirational, transformative and healing movement for nearly 20 years. As well as producing her own workshops and retreats, she leads events for many groups and organizations, including Esalen, The Association of Enneagram Teachers, and the Omega Institute. TransDance is a conscious exploration of movement, an ecstatic or meditative inquiry of awareness. To maintain this level of intention, all participants must be 15 years old or older.
