Glen Echo Park Inaugural Ball
Online Ticket Sales end January 19 at 5:30 pm. However, tickets WILL still be available at the door on the night of the event.
Not planning to go to one of the official inaugural balls downtown? Whatever your reason - traffic, security checks, looking for something fun off the beaten path - the Glen Echo Inaugural Ball's for you!
Whether you voted red, white or blue, come dance the night away and celebrate this historic occasion at the Spanish Ballroom. The World Music and Dance Institute and the Folklore Society of Greater Washington are pleased to co-sponsor an alternative, non-partisan dance event to benefit the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture.
Smoke- and alcohol-free. Black tie optional - all festive wear welcome! Light refreshments included.
Enjoy contra dance, waltz, and other couple dances with the Gigmeisters and caller Janine Smith; swing and blues dancing with Idle Americans.
Advance sales available online until 5 pm, January 19, 2009. All online sales are final and not refundable. Limited number of tickets also available at the door.
