The San Francisco International Piano Festival is proud to collaborate with Young Chamber Musicians once again this season. This extraordinary program cultivates the highest level of chamber musicianship by "Learning through listening and performing". The Aveta Trio joins us following their gold medal winning performances at the 2021 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition (junior division). The Trio will perform Mendelssohn's passionate Trio in C Minor Op.66, the finale of which quotes the well known hymn often referred to as the "Old Hundredth".
YCM alumnus and cellist Davis You will join artistic director Jeffrey LaDeur in Beethoven's first sonata for piano and cello, full of good humor, virtuosity, and dynamic conversation between the instruments.
