Bridging the Pond: Gerard Floriano, Conductor
As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, the RCO performs Benjamin Britten's Simple Symphony and Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings, with tenor Matthew Valverde and Peter Kurau, horn, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Novellette and a song from Hiawatha's Wedding Feast, Elegy by Edward Elgar and Rosauro's Concerto for Marimba with Jim Tiller as guest soloist.
