PSU Student Jazz Festival Thursday, December 5th
Thurs, 12/5: PSU Student Jazz Festival---Mario Sandoval And The Lords Of Justice. Mario Sandoval on vibraphone and percussion, Lindsey Quint--baritone saxophone, Matt Hetwer--trombone, Grant Sayler--guitar, Miranda Williams--bass, Jon Huteson--drums. Mario Sandoval, originally from Guatemala, has been making quite a name for himself as a versatile musician on the Portland jazz scene. He is a freelance musician navigating the world of NW music. As a regular player in the Portland music scene he works as a sideman for some of the top talent the NW has to offer. Mario performs in these groups on multiple instruments including, Drumset, Timbales, Congas, Cajon, Misc Percussion, Vibraphone, and Melodica. What a TALENT! He leads a strong squad with solid arrangements and toe tappin' beats! Don't miss this local boy! 7:30pm - $5.
