Everwood Farmstead Foundation continues its 9th season of the Artist Series with Carrie Elkin featuring Danny Schmidt on Saturday, August 14th!
Austin, TX-based Carrie Elkin possesses an infectious energy that cannot be contained. She straddles the Americana, Folk, and Indie Rock worlds, where meaningful songs meet the fierce-yet-fragile voices of powerful women. With her unpretentious charm and love of performing, Carrie wins over audiences with her songs and her soulful and dynamic vocals, drawing favorable comparisons to Patty Griffin at her most powerful, and Nanci Griffith at her most intimate.

Everwood's Pay-What-You-Can ticket price is simple - choose your ticket price from the list above. One-half of your ticket price will be provided to the artists and the other half will be distributed through Everwood's Aspiring Artists Fund. The Fund provides grants to arts-focused teachers in Barron, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties for projects that spark wonder and talent in their young, aspiring artists. Everwood reveals a recipient(s) at each performance. Since 2012, Everwood has donated almost $33,000 to local school programs.
Given the CDC's updated guidance, Everwood will require all to wear a face mask in the barn (with the exception of the performers) and outhouse regardless of vaccination status.
