Putnam Chorale presents: America Through Song - Southeast Veterans Park
From the birth of the nation until the dawn of the radio era, Americans bonded, communicated, and spread their culture with song. From Revolutionary fervor to nineteenth century social movements; from the Halls of Montezuma to This Land is Your Land, we'll be featuring music that mirrors the changing character of America. Join the Putnam Chorale for folk songs, parlor songs, military service songs, and just feel good songs. Tap your feet, hum along, get up and dance. Bring a chair, blanket or picnic, and enjoy the open air.
