The Quijote Duo has been selecting new works for viola and cello with the idea in mind of breaking the barriers of expression and novelty through experimentation and innovation. This event shows our commitment and support to emergent composers all around the United States and across borders. We are enthusiastic about finding new and different voices and strive to always present ambitious and eclectic program with contrasting works such as "Currents" by Hannah Boisonneaults. We also hope that this program will give us the opportunity to premier Igor Santos and Ben Zucker's brand new pieces, both Chicago-based composer.
