As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.
A horror movie for the covid age from Ben Wheatley one of Britains most talented and unique young directors. An acquired taste as they say and Ive acquired it. And so has Martin Scorcese who produced his 2017 movie Free Fire a black comedy consisting of a non-stop 90 min. shoot out. Few director could pull off such a feat.
You come to see indie movies. Wheatley is unique. Take a chance.
