Coming Back Cinema Presents: Akira
Unbelievably excited to invite you to a rare theatrical screening of Katsuhiro Otomo's landmark film Akira. Not only is this a special opportunity to see a movie truly meant for the big screen in a theater but it's also the 25 anniversary of the film. Released in 1988, Otomo's film is still the what-did-I-just-see movie it was back then. Absolutely gorgeous from beginning to end, you could take any random frame from this film and hang it on your wall. At the exact same time it will short circuit your brain with it's say-what-now dream sequences and action set pieces. So come on out to the Los Feliz 3 on November 20th at 9:40pm for one of the greatest science-fiction films ever made.
