Participants will be able to understand the basics of how corrosion of reinforcement steel in concrete can occur, identify common signs of where corrosion is taking place and how to minimize its effect on the existing structure, identify proper cleaning and preparation of the affected areas with minimal impact to the environment and structure, and lastly identify the basic low VOC materials and methods used to remediate or protect from future corrosion.
