Spring Equinox herbal workshop - Postponed - new date to be announced shortly
In a friendly session taking place via zoom you are invited to join herbalist Maria Billington who will be sharing a variety of ideas for using herbs.
This session we will be taking a look at the rich bounties of spring - exploring some of the wonderful plants that are springing up and making everything look lush and green.
We'll be taking a look at which ones are good for us to forage, use in both medicine and food and how we can encourage more diversity.
Make along: Seed bombs - clay, compost, sand, native wildflower seeds and water, egg cartons Demonstration: Different plants and their uses (so I'll gather the plants and show you what to look for)
Pre session challenge - try some nettle tea! gather some fresh green nettle tops a few leaves will do, roughly chop and steep in hot water - add a little honey if you like.

The session costs £2.50 (+ booking fee) and must be reserved in advance, you will receive a link to join via zoom, shortly in advance of the event.
This workshop is part of a series of online activities to encourage connection and creativity and boost wellbeing during social distancing. It has been made possible with funding from the Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage.
