Virtual OzCon International
New dates added!
Join us for 3 days full of Ozzy fun at the 57th Annual OzCon International. Our online OzCon event will now run July 16 - 18. Friday 16 you will have access to pre recorded OzCon content. Saturday 17 we will be live 10am to 10pm PDT on Zoom. And Sunday we will finish with more prerecorded content.
We can't be together in person, but Glinda's magical book of records has been magically uploaded online world this year. Ensuring that we can still be together and celebrate all things Oz. Tag a long for a mixture of pre-recorded presentation and panels along with some live segments. If you've never been to OzCon before we will give you a taste of the Oz fun.
2021 marks yet another 100 year Oz milestone as of course well be celebrating the centennial of Ruth Plumly Thompson first ever Oz book - The Royal Book of Oz. We'll also be putting technology in Oz under the Microscope, Baum, Thompson and other Oz historians put magic and technology to some really rather interesting and intriguing uses. Along with our usual mix of Oz related content.
Our presenters/speaker are tbc so stay tuned for updates. Stay up todate by following our Youtube Channel The OzConnection and the OZ:Connect show.
We will feature content each from 10am California PDT. We will still feature some of our usual programming regulars, such as the challenging Oz Quiz, presentations about Oz, Panels, the Winkie Award interviews the Oz Clubs and an online after-party (Bring your own drink)!
As we are in unusual times and we do not have the usual overheads to host OzCon, the Virtual Oz is a one-off - free event. We do politely ask though for any donation to support OzCon and our YouTube channel The OzConnection. Youll help keep it alive and running for the next 56 years. And you will need to register to attend Virtual OzCon.
