GlobeMed, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is a national network of university students who partner with grassroots healthcare organizations around the world to improve the health of people living in poverty. GlobeMed at the University of Cincinnati is partnered with Social Action for Children and Women (SAW), a non-governmental organization. SAW works for HIV/AIDS advocacy and education to improve the lives of migrant workers and orphaned children from Burma who have fled to Thailand due to military rule, ethnic conflict, and economic strife.
Join us for a night of inspiring speakers, delicious refreshments for pickup, and a silent auction on Zoom to raise funds for SAW.
