PETER SMITH TRIO
Pianist Peter Smith puts out a cooking hard bop sound that has that classic Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers/ Horace Silver groove to it. Smith's piano work is certainly a talent worth paying plenty of attention to.
Smith will be accompanied by Lorca Hart and Sam Bevan. Lorca is a percussionist extraordinaire who has worked consistently in a variety of musical situations, performing with many of the West Coast's (and beyond) finest artists. Bevan has established himself as one of the most creative bassists with styles ranging from jazz, funk and Afro-Caribbean.
