SORORITY Haus No. 2: CONSENT

SORORITY started as a late night k-hole for new short works by women, trans and queer performing artists working in Los Angeles. Founded, curated and hosted by Gina Young, SORORITY exploded almost overnight from a small salon into a huge and supportive community of creators with a cult following.

SORORITY events defy description and spark conversation, and we've produced hundreds of artists at venues including The Hammer Museum, Rockwell, and Los Angeles Performance Practice's LAX Festival. During this time of COVID-19 and social distancing, SORORITY is now live online. Join us in the SORORITY Haus!

Enter a beautiful, consent-based space where a stunning lineup gently crosses their own boundaries: actress Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers, For the People) serenades us, movement artist Jay Carlon explores the Zoom room, and Ann James of Intimacy Coordinators of Color offers an opening grounding ritual. Plus a raffle to win a 30 minute tarot reading with Sarah Faith Gottesdiener, some really cool queer swag from Word for Word Factory, and much more. Read on!
