Earth II
Last October, 30 students came together to devise an original theatrical piece in response to the events of 2020. They created EARTH II, a story that answers the question; What if the worst-case scenarios for 2020 had come true? Our story begins with a world that is toxic and unsafe for human life. The solution? Earth II, a completely virtual world where citizens are secured in their individual pods and free to enjoy the vast virtual world created for them. After 15 years of this virtual "paradise", the citizens begin to realize their safe pods, once a sanctuary, are in fact, more like a prison. This script was imagined, written, and performed by the Bearcat Devised Theatre Company, with story direction from Ms. Wozniak and choreography guidance from Ms. Reidy.
