What's Growing In Winter? Tour #1

Prairie Wind Family Farm (in-ground growing)
Join owners Jen and Jeff Miller who are growing in four tunnels throughout the winter this goes beyond season extension. Well step inside each tunnel and discuss crop selection, timing, layout decisions, row covers, irrigation, and the differences between the tunnels themselves. Success and challenges over several years experience will be shared. Youll watch a 30-minute recorded video tour followed by a live question and answer session with the farmers.
This series is co-presented by the Center for Agrarian Learning at MCC and Windy City Harvest
